Portfolio I-Honors
11th Grade
In Portfolio I we will be working on polishing your writing focusing on revision, editing, and publishing. By the end of this class you will be able to take a so-so piece of writing and turn it into a sophisticated, published piece. In addition, you will be creating a web-based portfolio that will showcase your academic and professional writing.
This school year we have a new format for the graduation project. Your Portfolio I class will replace your need to meet with an advisor, and we will work on many parts of the project in class. Your final Project will be presented through your electronic portfolio we create in class, replacing the traditional 3-ring binder.
Required Materials for Class
2012-2013
- Pencil and pen
- Flashdrive
- Reading book of your choice
- 1" 3-ring binder with plenty of college ruled notebook paper
- Participation in Edmodo class page
